Sassy Blackpool hotel says 'not sure what view you were expecting' after guest slams top floor room
The management of a top rated Blackpool hotel have shared their sassy response to a guest who slammed their top floor premier room - after requesting they be put into a "high quiet room" with a "nice view".
She explained: "Paid for premier room which was on top floor. However it was musty and housekeeping did not pitch up until 3pm, by which time we were back for a rest. We had breakfast which had no healthy options. Fruit was tinned grapefruit, peaches, yogurt. Full cooked breakfast, but no continental breakfast, just lots of cereals."
"The smell of smoke you could smell from bedroom. I would look for a nice b and b a few roads away from front." They explained that the guest had been placed in Room 30 - a premier room which provided a view of Blackpool Tower. They added: "not sure what kind of view you were expecting when you booked a town centre hotel!They then continued to address the guest's claims that housekeeping didn't 'pitch up' until 3pm.
They continued: "As an NHS worker I am shocked you take issue with guests who had mobility limitations and require walkers and wheelchairs, I find this attitude totally unacceptable and discriminatory. You state you are Disappointed with the hotel; it appears your bias is the most disappointing issue highlighted by your unfair review."
