On April 18 around 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a robbery at a store in the 100 block of Primrose Drive. Four suspects, believed to be responsible for the previous robbery, entered the store wearing medical masks and carrying grocery bags. Police said they loaded the bags with bottles and threatened staff with bear spray before fleeing in the same Pontiac Sunfire.Article content

The most recent robbery was on April 21 at 6:30 p.m., at a store in the 1800 block of McOrmond Drive. Police said two people matching the previous suspect descriptions were arrested in the area without incident. One had methamphetamine and a knife. The maroon Sunfire was also found and seized at the scene.

A 43-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man face “numerous” robbery charges. The man is also charged with carrying a weapon to commit a crime and possession of meth.Recommended from Editorial
