Darryl Burns said she was responding to the initial calls of distress in the early morning on Sunday when she was killed. The Saskatchewan First Nations Veterans Association has identified Earl Burns as a former member of the military.Hours before the stabbings, Lana Head, a mother of five children ranging in age from 15 to 31, posted on Facebook that she had “so many good memories to cherish.”
