Saskatchewan Rattlers, with six games left in the regular season, hope to keep their Canadian Elite Basketball League playoff hopes alive.
The Rattlers brought in a new player, Marquis Collins, who made his CEBL debut Sunday despite having yet not practised with his new team.“He just showed up night,” said Demopoulos. “There are a lot of haves in this league and some have-nots and the ones who are haves don’t get victimized as much by the transient nature of the league. It’s a short season with a limited amount of games. It’s an interesting venue.
“I think, as a team, we’re starting to feel — we know it’s getting close to that must win,” said Nuga. “Every game is important. Just coming out, we expected to win game. I think we were ready to win the game. Just a couple of plays here and there that didn’t go our way.
