The U of S Huskies came back from a 25\u002D7 halftime deficit to defeat the host Manitoba Bisons 30\u002D27 on Friday night.

“Obviously not the first half we wanted,” Huskies quarterback Anton Amundrud told Canada West TV.“But we knew we were better than that so we came out in the second half and I was really proud of the guys how we just didn’t give up and it was a wonderful game. That’s a great team win. It’s awesome starting the season like that. Obviously you don’t want to go down that much before half, but it really just shows that really we have no give up and we know we can play, so it was awesome to see.
