Barkley rushed for 1,307 yards and 11 touchdowns as a rookie in 2018, but has seen injuries derail his career since.
He had 217 carries for 1,003 yards and six touchdowns in 2019, before rushing the ball just 19 times for 34 yards in 2020. Last season he had 162 carries for 593 yards and two touchdowns. Barkley is entering the final year of his contract and speculation is beginning to swirl that the Giants could trade him instead of re-signing him.recently included Arizona as a trade destination that made sense for the running back.

"So who would trade for Barkley, and what would it take?," he wrote."Presumably, only a team that believes it’s close to winning a championship — the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, and Buffalo Bills come to mind. As for compensation? Probably a third-round pick, at best."
