A silver pickup truck struck a man in December on the West Side, and the driver left him for dead, police say.
San Antonio police are asking for the public's help to identify the driver of this pickup truck that was involved in a deadly hit-and-run at 7:16 p.m. Dec. 26, 2022, in the 1300 block of Buena Vista Street.San Antonio police are asking the public's help to identify the driver of a silver pickup truck that fled the scene after hitting and killing a man on the West Side.
Darrell Gerard Bergeron, 60, was struck at about 7:16 p.m. Dec. 26 while crossing in the 1300 block of Buena Vista Street. The truck that hit Bergeron fled east on Buena Vista. EMS arrived and pronounced Bergeron dead at the scene, police said. The driver, when found, will be charged with one count of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
