The road closed between upper Skyline Boulevard and Pilarcitos Creek Road at 3 a.m. Thursday, and CHP said it's unknown when it will reopen.Route 92 was also fully closed on Wednesday, as CHP said crews were investigating a potential sinkhole. One lane was later opened that day, but the road was then fully closed again Thursday.
The closure comes as the San Francisco Bay Area gets hit with multiple storms that are dumping huge amounts of rain.
