A woman was found shot to death on Mt. Pleasant Road on Oct. 9, according to authorities.
SAN JOSE — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting last week in the city’s east hills, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.
The news release did not specify how the person died, the time of day it occurred, or any identifying information. But records from the county medical examiner-coroner’s office show that the victim was a 35-year-old woman who died from multiple gunshot wounds at 7:28 a.m. that morning.
