Two San Jose residents were arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession after a search warrant yielded thousands of Adderall and fentanyl pills.
SAN JOSE — Police said they arrested a pair of San Jose residents and seized a large amount of drugs, including Adderall, fenatnyl, cocaine and methamphetamine, after a long investigation.
San Jose police said in a news release Monday that they had arrested a 24-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman on July 14 on suspicion of drug trafficking and illegal weapon possession. Authorities did not offer many details on the operation, including how it began, how the suspects came under suspicion, or whether there were more targets.
Police said they had served a search warrant around 10:30 p.m. on July 14 at a home on the 3000 block of Rubino Drive, in a South San Jose neighborhood near Communications Hill. The search yielded 28,000 Adderall pills, 1,000 fentanyl pills, 30 pounds of marijuana, 40 grams of cocaine, 3 ounces of methamphetamine, an unregistered Glock pistol and Mac-10 firearm, ammunition, and over $12,000 in cash., which is a privately made and untraceable firearm that lacks a serial number.
