Two Americans and a Spaniard were gored Sunday on the first day of the annual running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain, during the San Fermin festival, authorities reported.
The Spanish man, 40, and a 23-year-old from Florence, Kentucky, suffered less serious injuries and were both gored in the thigh. One man was dragged unconscious from the entryway to the bullring after he was trampled by runners and bulls. The Red Cross said it treated 48 people at the scene for minor injuries.
