San Diego Mojo volleyball standout finds success off the court with her clothing line, Apres June
Hannah Tapp's summers were filled with the whir of stationary bikes, the hum of treadmills and the clanking of weights in gyms, where she would spend hours preparing her body for another professional volleyball season. In 2020, the music stopped. With COVID-19 raging and the world on lockdown, Tapp went outside. She traded her gym workouts for activities like daily walks. While Tapp loved the feeling of the sun against her skin, the intensity of the rays made her uncomfortable.
The 28-year-old Tapp takes pride in the little things, like packing and shipping each order by hand. Apres June uses only recycled or 100% natural materials for all their products and shipping materials. Tapp has incorporated elements from all of her travels and integrated them into her brand. She first learned about sustainable practices during her sophomore year at the University of Minnesota, when she spent a semester studying in Bali.
