The 2023 South by Southwest Music Festival is underway in downtown Austin, and one of the artists performing on stage is San Antonio duo MOJOE. The R&B duo has been making music together for nearly two decades.
Me and Easy went to high school together when he moved from New Orleans to San Antonio. We were just classmates and from there we just built a brotherhood,” said Treson Scipio, whose stage name is Tre Love Supreme. “We started recording back in 2002-03, somewhere around there, and got a chance to sign with Mathew Knowles and Music World.”Tre described their music as a gumbo pot of R&B, soul and hip-hop. The duo also performs with a live band.
Tre said it’s always an honor for them to perform at SXSW and share their music with a live audience.
