Six days after getting a 2-1 win in Las Vegas San Antonio FC will return to the field this Saturday when they travel to South Carolina to take on the Charleston Battery at Patriots Point Soccer Stadium.

San Antonio FC’s Fabien Garcia passes the ball down the pitch during the first half of Saturdays USL soccer game against Colorado Springs FC.

“They are in first in the Eastern Conference for a reason,” San Antonio coach Alen Marcina said. “They have put in the work and they are well organized in their 4-2-3-1. Their striker Williams is someone we will have to man mark and shut down.” “That was surreal for sure” Oluwseyi said of scoring in his debut. “When you come to a new club, you’re trying to get off the mark to get going. It felt good to in the first game and now I can focus on building on that.”

Charleston Battery has a plus-six goal differential this season. The Battery is tied for fourth overall with 14 goals this season, second most in the eastern conference. Charleston has allowed eight goals this season which is tied for third fewest in the league and second fewest in the eastern conference.
