The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office said she died as a result of multiple sharp force injuries, and her death was ruled a homicide. Surveillance footage from the area shows the three suspects exiting a vehicle at an empty lot on El Paso Street, less than a mile from where Martinez was found on July 19, the affidavit said. Frank and Adam were seen unloading the same gray bin she was found in, according to the affidavit.
Officials in the affidavit said the younger Rangel was"struggling with the contents of the bin" and his father helped him drag the bin away from the vehicle and into the empty lot.
