San Antonio couple celebrating 66th wedding anniversary say true love is the secret
That love saw them through milestone anniversaries, such as pearl , ruby , golden and diamond . Last year they surpassed the blue sapphire for 65 years of marriage.
“He was handsome,” Edna Grossett said to Mary Wise, her daughter. Wise, 60, and her sister Jane Grossett, 59, visit the couple twice a week. They are two of the Grossetts’ seven children. Wise called it just a glimpse of her mom and dad’s great sense of humor. She’s not sure about her parents’ claim they never had arguments, but she knows they were always affectionate to one another.
