If you’ve got an adventurous palate, then it’s where you’ll want to be on June 21 for the city’s largest restaurant crawl event, Flavors of Albany Park.
“We’ve tried to capture as much of the diversity and elevate all the variations of cultures that we have in the area,” said Dalia Aragon of North River Commission, which organizes the event. “We have over 40 languages that are spoken here. I would definitely say that people don’t know that until they come explore. We have over 80 restaurants participating. A lot of them are new; a lot of them opened right during the pandemic.
“There is just a lot to explore with cuisines, but also just the culture. I mean, you can literally go around the world just traveling down Kedzie Avenue,” Aragon said.
