CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — A Stanley Bridge business owner says she wants to support local but feels the options are becoming limited.
“If we don't support our small local businesses and farm-to-table type food, we're not going to have it anymore.”Chad Mann, CEO of ADL, told SaltWire there has been a lot of confusion among consumers since the acquisition. He said the product has not changed, however, the locations where people can buy it have.
Humby says she has been using ADL and other whipping cream brands for her business but she is worried about the additives it contains. Purity whipping cream has its ingredient listed as only “creme.” But ADL’s whipping cream has about six ingredients listed, most of which are extra additives.
