TheHungerGames star Sam Claflin is set to lead Lionsgate's new supernatural thriller Bagman, which follows a father who must protect his family from his biggest childhood fear.
Sam Claflin is set to star in Lionsgate’s upcoming supernatural thriller Bagman. Claflin rose to prominence after playing Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games franchise from 2013 to 2015. Since then, he's starred in Me Before You and played Oswald on Peaky Blinders. The 35-year-old actor has previously worked with Lionsgate, who produced The Hunger Games as well as the upcoming Bagman.
THR reports that Claflin will lead Bagman. Colm McCarthy, who helmed Peaky Blinders season 2, is directing; though they both had a hand on the hit television series, this marks the first time Claflin and McCarthy will work together. The screenwriter is John Hulme, and the producers are Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, who have both worked on YA titles like Maze Runner and Twilight. Jorge Alfaro and Meredith Wieck are the Lionsgate executives who will oversee Bagman.
