Salt Lake City announces road closures ahead of upcoming Rock 'n' Roll Racing Series coming downtown.

The first Rock 'n' Roll half marathon and 5K in Utah is scheduled to be held Aug. 18-19, 2023.Salt Lake City is expecting road impacts with the upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll 5-kilometer, Half Marathon and kids races downtown on Friday and Saturday.
The Salt Lake City Police Department estimates some of the street closures could be in place for “a few hours” A number of Salt Lake City streets will be closed Saturday for Rock 'n' Roll Running's half marathon. The 5K run uses the same start and finish line, with racers racing along 200 East, 800 South and part of 500 East.
