Mohamed Salah 'prepared to walk away' from Liverpool and join a Premier League rival LFC
Mohamed Salah could leave Liverpool for free and join a Premier League rival next summer if the club fails to offer him an improved contract., and appears no closer to being resolved though he intends to stay this summer. The Egyptian has already played for Chelsea in England, who report that unless Salah is offered what he wants before his contract expires in 2023, he may well join another English side.
But a 15 per cent pay rise offered by Fenway Sports Group president Mike Gordon is said to have been deemed inadequate by Salah’s agent Ramy Abbas, and the two parties haven’t spoken face-to-face since December.
