Acquired for a seventh-round pick in 2025, Casey appeared in 20 games with Moncton this season and had one goal and four points. The team also acquired 17-year-old forward Tristan Dassylva from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar, along with a first-round draft pick and a trio of second-round selections. The 20-year-old Drover is a Port aux Basques native and spent his early hockey years in the west coast community. He returns to the Sea Dogs after playing parts of this season with the Western Hockey League’s Medicine Hat Tigers and the Maritime Hockey League’s Valley Wildcats.
