Sage Steele announced Tuesday she had settled her lawsuit with ESPN and was leaving the network.
Sage Steele is mad as hell, and she’s not going to take it anymore.
Steele feels unjustly treated because several colleagues went on the air to talk about race relations in the US after the George Floyd killing in 2020, and none of them were punished for speaking about what was on their minds. Steele sued the network after it suspended her following controversial remarks she made on Jay Cutler’s podcast.The difference with Steele’s case was her words went against the company’s policy and culture.
