KOTA KINABALU: With less than 24 hours to go before nomination day, PBS is prepared to face-off with other Perikatan Nasional-friendly parties contesting in the same areas and hope for the best.

PBS deputy president Datuk Seri Radin Malleh said he was not overly worried about potential clashes with Umno, MCA and PBRS as it only involved a few seats, namely, Bengkoka, Matunggong, Tandek, Tg Aru, Telupid, Kadamaian, Kapayan and Karamunting.

"I don't think this is a problem and the better party will win," he said at the PBS headquarters in Penampang on Friday . "But it seems there are some candidates or parties who really want to contest. We cannot do anything to stop them," he said, adding that the parties did attempt to sort it out.
