The clip was shared on the show’s official social media pages with the caption explaining the co-owners got a “crash course in royal etiquette” and the meeting with the royal couple was filmed for the second series. Ryan also posted a picture of the meeting on his Instagram page, and joked: “‘Welcome to Wrexham Season 2: Charles in Charge’.”
He explained: “I would say that going into anything like this, where you’re in sort of uncharted territory – at least for us – it’s just about transparency. We’re not here to project some idea that we know what we’re doing in terms of running a football club.
