Russo: After school I would tag along with a boys' teamEngland striker Alessia Russo has told BBC Breakfast how she started playing football by tagging along with an after-school boys' team.
The Euro 2022 winner said even as she got older the first proper team she was involved with was all male, before she found a female team to play on. She called for more access to the sport for young girls: "We're women and we want to be playing with girls, growing up having equal opportunities."
