Russia Pounds Odesa as Civilian Bodies Uncovered Elsewhere

William Hartung, senior research fellow at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft, joined NBCLX storyteller Clark Fouraker to explain.

The Ukrainian military warned Tuesday that Russia could target the country’s chemical industries. The claim wasn’t immediately explained in the report. But Russian shelling has previously targeted oil depots and other industrial sites during the war.Also, satellite pictures analyzed by The Associated Press showed two ships off Ukraine’s Snake Island on Monday afternoon.

More than five million people have fled Ukraine for neighboring countries since the start of the war with Russia, according to the U.N. Refugee Agency
