While the annual World Rugby investment covers the men's and women's 15s and sevens squads as well as other programs Vansen says the amount going to the Canadian men's 15s team has been decreasing over the last five or six years. Vansen called the women's finish “an unacceptable result with the investment that's made in that program.”
