Eagle eyed fans took to Twitter to point it out
who turned nine years old on Friday . To celebrate, various members of the Royal Family took to social media to share special birthday messages and photos of the future King – and one photo in particular caused quite the stir amongst royal fans.
The photo in question was shared on the Royal Family's official Twitter account, with plenty of royal fans pointing out that nine-year-old Prince George is now the same height as his 96-year-old great-grandmother"Wishing a very Happy 9th Birthday to Prince George!" the tweet read alongside a photo of Her Majesty smiling at Prince George on the Buckingham Palace balcony during her history-makingcelebrations in June.
