A Royal Canadian Air Force CP-140 Aurora will conduct a flyby north of Kentville as part of a graduation ceremony for new RCAF cadets at the 5th Canadian Division’s Support Base Detachment Aldershot on Aug. 31. - FileGREENWOOD, N.S. — A Royal Canadian Air Force CP-140 Aurora from 14 Wing Greenwood will fly by north of Kentville on Thursday, Aug. 31.

The operation is part of an RCAF basic military qualification graduation ceremony in Aldershot, taking place around 10:30 a.m. The aircraft will fly at an altitude no lower than 500 feet above the highest ground-level building, the Department of Defence said in a news release.
