Georgia commit Roderick Robinson scores four TDs to lead Hornets to 37-14 win over Chatsworth Sierra Canyon. Classical Academy also advances to state final in 6-AA.

For the last five weeks, Lincoln High running back Roderick Robinson has been playing with a strained hamstring. The Georgia commit is still far from 100 percent, but he was too much for Chatsworth Sierra Canyon on Friday night.

Lincoln was ranked No. 92 in the nation and No. 9 in the state by MaxPreps. Sierra Canyon was ranked No. 83 in the nation and No. 7 in the state.Sierra Canyon was awarded the home game on the basis of one common opponent with Lincoln. The Hornets lost to Bishop Alemany 14-7. Sierra Canyon beat Alemany 42-0.

“That run was right toward me on the sideline,” said Lincoln coach David Dunn. “He turned it up, made three or four moves across the field and those were big-time moves. It was like he was playing with a joystick.”Lincoln led at halftime 10-7, then blew the game out with a 27-point third quarter. Lincoln led 34-7 before Sierra Canyon scored a late TD.
