Road Closures and Construction Projects in the CitySeveral road closures and construction projects are scheduled in the city. Heber Street will be closed from Campbell Street to Scott Street from Aug. 14, 2023 until Oct. 1, 2023. Another closure on Heber Street, from Byron Street to Campbell Street, including the Campbell Street intersection, will be in effect from Aug. 14, 2023 until Nov. 1, 2023. Additional work is planned on Heber Street between Campbell Street and Scott Street in the spring of 2024. March Street will also be closed from Centre Street to South Trent Street from Aug. 21, 2023 until Nov. 1, 2023. Local traffic will still have access to both streets during the closures. Access to the Dr. McMullen Recreation Centre can be made via Centre Street from Picton Street and Sidney Street, as well as the north section of March Street from Sidney Street and Diamond Street.
