Rogers and Bell had held equal shares of MLSE, which owns the NHL Maple Leafs, NBA Raptor, CFL Argonauts, MLS Toronto FC and AHL Marlies. Rogers, which owns Sportsnet, already owns Major League Baseball’s Blue Jays and its Rogers Centre home.
