Rodeo is upon us. We get excited for all of the fun events but it’s important to remember the reason for the season
The cost of a college education is out of reach for a lot of families, but the Rodeo offers scholarships to help ease the burden for hundreds of students each year., watch the cowboys and cowgirls compete and chow down on just about every kind of food you can imagine.
Kalea was the first person in her family to graduate from high school and attend college. The Houston student said she grew up in a low-income neighborhood with a lot of crime and she saw education as her way out. "I would say that I am eternally grateful. It completely changed my life," Shay said."Not only did it change my life, it changed my family tree."
