Conroe native Parker McCollum, who drew more than 73,000 fans last year to NRG Stadium, will open RodeoHouston's 2023 season.

Tickets for McCollum's 2023 performance start at $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 6 through AXS Ticketing at. An online waiting room will open at 9:30 a.m., and customers will be randomly selected to purchase tickets at 10 a.m. A place in the waiting room, however, does not guarantee tickets. There is a limit of eight tickets per person.
"Everyone looks forward to the upcoming Rodeo season all year long," said Chris Boleman, Rodeo president and CEO, in a statement."Feb. 28 will truly be a Houston-themed celebration." Pre-rodeo, McCollum sold-out the Woodlands Pavilion in Oct. 2021 and set a record for the most tickets sold for a country artist in the venue's 31-year history.
The full RodeoHouston lineup will be announced at a later date, along with more opening day details. RodeoHouston runs Feb. 28-March 19. Season tickets are on sale now.
