RNC confirm body recovered in Outer Cove Thursday is missing person Wayne Wilson

James Cadigan confirmed for The Telegram that the body recovered in Outer Cove Thursday was that of missing person Wayne Wilson. The 69-year-old was reported missing earlier in the week. Cadigan said no foul play was suspected.
A helicopter and a Canadian Coast Guard vessel were on the scene, along with Rovers Search and Rescue personnel, the St. John’s Regional Fire Department high-angle rescue team and members of the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary.
