) love child, but the reunion led to Alice and Betty covering up a murder. Alice and Betty later realized that Chic wasn’t who he said he was. According to Chic, he killed Alice's real son, Charles , who was his roommate.
Season 3, however, revealed that Charles was alive and well and working for the FBI. The story didn't end there — Charles as he appeared. Charles and Chic were later reunited in prison. They broke out of jail in season 5 and asked Alice to marry them amid Charles' ongoing health issues.The roleplaying game, which took inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons, was introduced during season 3 of Riverdale before quickly turning sinister. After a lengthy hunt for the mastermind behind the game, Penelope Blossom revealed that it was her all along.
