Riveiro explains why there is more to come from impressive Makgopa
Head coach Jose Riveiro insists there is more to come from striker Evidence Makgopa, who was involved in both goals as Orlando Pirates secured a 2-0 win over Cape Town Spurs in the Carling Knockout.
The match also saw a first start for Makgopa, who joined Pirates at the start of the 22/23 season but was sidelined for the majority of the campaign by injuriesThe 2021/22 PSL Young Player of the Season won the penalty that would be converted by Xoki and provided a delightful assist for Erasmus to finish from close range.Speaking at the post-match press conference, Riveiro revealed his delight with the 23-year-old striker and believes there is more to come.
"So as a coach, I'm so happy to see him finally getting a chance. It doesn't mean that everything is done because the competition in the team is terrible in that position also.
