The stars at the RivalsCamp in South Florida last weekend offer their thoughts on the transfer portal's influence:
QUESTION: Could half of the prospects in the 2024 class end up in the transfer portal at the next level?“I have no idea, probably a lot with all the stuff going on right now. I guess because they are not willing to work or stay loyal with the program.”"Probably. Some people don't make great decisions. We can't really expect them to stay loyal to a program. There's always somebody in the class doing something like that.
Sometimes it may be they want to play more so they go to a place where they can get more playing time. I don’t blame them.”“I’d say quite a few. The transfer portal is just kicking up for us. I’m not going to be one of those guys. I feel like it will be a decent amount. It is what it is. I’m a loyal guy though, I will stay with. I think that maybe when they get there, they might realize they weren’t going to get as much playing time as they should or maybe they are not treated as they should be.
