Celebrated, flamboyant stand-up comic and over-the-top TV personality Rip Taylor has died. He was 84.
Taylor began his career as a stand-up comic in nightclubs where he made a name for himself with his unusual style, and soon made his breakthrough with appearances onKnown as the"King of Confetti," Taylor was famous for showering audiences in confetti to punctuate punchlines. He was known for his huge handlebar moustache, toupe and larger-than-life personality.
