Pregnant Rihanna and A$AP Rocky seen for the first time since the rapper's arrest for gun charge
The rapper - born Rakim Athelaston Mayers - was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department in connection with a November 2021 shooting in Hollywood. Rocky, 33, was taken into custody right after he and Rihanna returned from their vacation in Barbados on Wednesday, April 20.
The musician posted his $550,000 bail and was photographed being released from a Los Angeles jail that same day - just hours after he was arrested at LA. Los Angeles police were investigating Mayers after a man claimed the rapper shot him in the area of Selma and Argyle Avenues following an argument. The case will soon be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration.
