It was a single\u002Dvehicle crash on Highway 511 near Tatlock Road, police said.
The individual was not being identified “at this time pending the investigation,” an OPP media release said.
The investigation into the crash southwest of Ottawa was being led by the OPP’s Lanark County detachment along with members of the OPP Traffic Reconstruction Unit, the OPP Forensic Identification Unit, the Lanark County Paramedic Service and the Lanark Highlands Fire department.Saturday’s fatality was the second involving a motorcyclist in eastern Ontario this past week.
On Thursday, a 24-year-old driver died from his injuries in a collision between his motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Tenth Line and Wall roads in Ottawa’s east end.
