Police confirmed 8-year-old Brenym Shaw McDonald was killed on New Year's Day and that a suspect is in custody.
A preliminary report released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner indicated McDonald's cause of death was"sharp force injuries of the neck and chest."involving a juvenile victim in the 3500 block of Labadie Drive at about 7:50 a.m.
