The reward for information in a teen girl's death was increased more than two years after officers found her body in the median of I-10 in Buckeye.
More than two years after 16-year-old Anaiah Walker was killed in a hit-and-run in Buckeye, the reward for tips in her case was increased to $12,000.
Buckeye police announced Wednesday that, in cooperation with Silent Witness, they boosted the reward for information leading to an arrest in Walker's death. On May 22, 2020, police found Walker's body in the median of Interstate 10 near Watson Road. Walker was listed as a missing or runaway juvenile by the Mesa Police Department since December 2019.
