Based loosely on the exploits of the real-life Agojie, the all-female wing of the Dahomey army ,"The Woman King" stars Viola Davis as the fierce and fearless general, Nanisca, and John Boyega as King Ghezo, a leader who finds himself on the precipice of change, having recently taken over the throne from his brother.
