But the Friday proceedings were all about the return of Paolo Nutini to the Scottish festival stage. The Paisley crooner performed his hits and songs from latest album Last Night in the Bittersweet to his adoring homecrowd. Tonight, New York indie stars The Strokes are expected to close the festival while Scotland’s biggest star Lewis Capaldi will perform as the headlining act on Sunday.
