Rev. Jesse Jackson was released from a health facility after a month-long battle with Covid-19
Jackson was vaccinated against coronavirus and reportedly had less severe symptoms, but he was transferred to The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, a physical therapy facility, about a week after he was first hospitalized.
The virus aggravated Jackson’s Parkinson’s disease, affecting his ability to walk and talk, and he had to undergo 60 to 90 minutes of daily physical therapy and occupational and speech therapy,Jacqueline, who was unvaccinated, had to receive oxygen treatments and was transferred to the intensive care unit briefly before getting released earlier this month.
