What do a 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 and a Porsche 911 have in common? Not much. Nevertheless, North Carolina-based Land Cruiser restorer TLC4x4 has just finished work on a special FJ62 which takes inspiration from a classic 911. Extensive work has been done on the exterior of the car, including a Porsche-inspired Agate Grey repaint, new front fender vents, rear three-quarter vents, and a set of rock sliders, should anyone wish to take this pristine Toyota off the beaten path.
These include new seats clad in Relicate Leather with Houndstooth inserts, just like some classic 911s. TLC4x4's interior upgrades include a new headliner for the Land Cruiser, bespoke gauges, and a large JVC infotainment screen in the center of the dashboard. A set of Kicker KS Series speakers and a powerful subwoofer are also featured.
