Respiratory outbreak at H.J McFarland Memorial Home
Hastings Prince Edward Public Health has declared a respiratory outbreak at the H.J. McFarland Memorial Home.Affected residents were said to be isolated and their symptoms have since been resolved.
Anyone who has symptoms of a cold or fever is asked to avoid the long-term care facility during the outbreak. According to HPEPH’s guidelines, if there are no active or new cases, the outbreak should be resolved on November 7.
