A winter storm warning from Environment Canada remains in place
With some snow expected to continue into the weekend, the City of Sault Ste. Marie issued a reminder this afternoon that residents are asked to avoid parking on city streets whenever possible to help with the removal of snow.
with snowfall amounts of 25 to 40 cm possible by Saturday morning and snow squalls possible Saturday and through the weekend into Monday for the Sault area.Public Works will continue to have crews available to deal with any snow and ice accumulation. The City's parking bylaw remains in effect with drivers not permitted to park on city streets between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. during the winter months.
